Letter by Matthew Vassar describing his visit to the Isle of Wight, 1840; and miscellaneous estate papers including a recipe for Vassar pale ale. Records of the Women's Union Bible and Tract Society, Poughkeepsie, 1840-1924, consisting of minutes, reports, accounts, programs, clippings, and letters concerning their work distributing religious tracts abroad and locally and their later charity work in Poughkeepsie.
